Department of Sociology

          The department was started in the year 1995. It is taken care of thatthe teaching methods should not promote memorized learning, instead, thestakeholders are encouraged to learn about the areas of application of theirknowledge. A continuous and comprehensive evaluation of learners is donethrough assignments, unit tests, classroom discussions, class seminars.Sociology provides initial knowledge about society, social life and socialinteractions. It prepares an individual to social life by inculcating values,morals, and manners. It gives knowledge about communities in which he interactslike rural urban and tribal communities.
